These Japanese brooms are made in Tochigi prefecture. Made to be sold mainly in Tokyo, they are called “Tokyo style.” Domestic broom grass needs no coloring or bleaching and it fits the user’s hands better the more it is used. Besides being handy, it lasts for years when used with care. The black and red string combination binding the broom grass is a Matsunoya original.
